Boardwax 500B is a homogeneous, water based anionic emulsion, that contains a fine dispersion of wax particles.
Boardwax 500B is used as a sizing agent for paper, paperboard, MDF and particle board. Normal dosage level is 0.2-2.0 kg/ton on dry basis. The emulsion application point must be determined in each case depending on the plant conditions. Dilution with water before addition is normally required to facilitate even distribution on fibres.
